Playing nice with others

Group work. Group work group work group work group work group work. Well, now that those two words have ceased to look like real words, let's talk about group work. Me and some colleagues of mine have a game to make. We've got a concept, we've got a design and we have 4-6 weeks. Seems very do-able.

The game is a top-down driving game. Kinda looks like the original Grand Theft Auto games. You play as John Ambulance (name pending group approval) on his quest to complete his job. The business of saving lives is a tough one however, as humans are fragile creatures. Your job is to drive from the local hospital to the nearest patient, pick him up and drive him back. Carefully. Each bump reduces your patients chance of survivng the whole trip. The longer you take, however, the less money you earn in this parrallel universe where Taxi Driver and Paramedic are no longer seperate job titles.

I am kind of excited to work on this game. I like the concept and I think a lot can be done with it, even in the short time we have. Keep you posted.
